*Tea Cakes Made With Self-raising Flour
2 cups self-raising flour
1 table-spoon butter
Milk or cream
Rub the butter well into the flour, add a little salt. Make it into a dough with a little milk or sour cream. Roll out. Cut into small rounds. Bake in a quick oven. Split open, butter and serve at once.
