Worldly Good and Prosperity the Lot of the Godly

There shall no evil happen to the just. (Prov. 12: 21.)

For the Lord loveth judgment and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved forever.... The wicked watcheth the righteous and seeketh to slay him. The Lord will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.... Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright; for the end of that man is peace. (Ps. 37: 28, 32, 33, 37.)

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly.... Whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (Ps. 1: 1, 3.)

And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man. (Gen. 39: 2.)

So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. (Job 42: 12.)
