A young army lieutenant and his bride-to-be race through the dark in a taxi to catch a train west, meaning to marry before it leaves. They miss the minister, and the long Pullman journey through Chicago and across the alkali plains becomes a farce of mistaken identities, unwilling chaperones, a masked minister and fellow passengers with troubles of their own.
A fast railway comedy that also played on Broadway, for fans of screwball misadventure. Download the free EPUB.
