Retold in English with the help of Chow-Leung, these short stories from Chinese tradition explain how the moon became beautiful, why the evergreen tree outlasts the marigold and what happened when the animals held a peace party. Others tell of filial sons such as Wong-Ziang, who works to feed his widowed mother in a time of famine.
Gentle moral tales, each headed by its Chinese title, suited to children and to readers of world folklore. Download the free EPUB.
