Nora Kershaw’s 1921 translations of legendary sagas rarely before put into English: the Tháttr of Nornagest, the Tháttr of Sörli, the Saga of Hromund Greipsson and the Saga of Hervör and Heithrek, with its cursed sword Tyrfing and the riddle contest of Gestumblindi. A second part gives Faroese ballads, and each piece comes with its own introduction and notes.
