King Valoroso of Paflagonia has taken the crown from his nephew Giglio, and King Padella of Crim Tartary has done much the same to the rightful heir there. A magic rose and ring that make their owners seem lovely pass from hand to hand, while the Fairy Blackstick, the spoiled Princess Angelica, Prince Bulbo and the little maid Betsinda tumble through a plot of swapped fortunes.
A fireside pantomime written for children and enjoyed by adults, with nonsense that still sparkles. Download the free EPUB.
