With Ozma and Glinda called away from the Emerald City, the Mimics of Mount Illuso see their chance. These sinister creatures can take the shape of anyone they capture, and King Umb and Queen Ra soon hold Dorothy and the Wizard prisoner while impostors speak strangely in their places. Toto carries the warning that sets the rescue in motion.
