Tum Tum is a good-natured young elephant in the jungles of India until hunters catch him and send him to a travelling circus. There he makes friends with Mappo the monkey and Don the dog, pushes wagons, faces a fire and a tiger, makes trouble with balloons and lemonade, and finally performs a brave deed.
