A white cockatoo sitting on his perch admits that he is beginning to be ashamed of himself, while a scolding grey parrot opposite tells him how kind young Master Herbert has been. The bird then tells his own history, and other birds join the household, including a well-travelled macaw named the Great Mogul who learned bad words from sailors.
A short Victorian animal tale for children, told by a bird with a talent for getting into trouble. Download the free EPUB.
