The Sinking Ship
The winds howled o’er
The dashing sea,
The ship was foundered
At half past three.
The captain yelled,
Life boats lowered!
There was a noise
Like a cannon roar,
’Twas the boilers burst below.
Then said the captain
Brave but slow,
It’s too late, boys,
We all must go.
