Sammy Jay is a handsome, quarrelsome bird who screams at everyone in the Green Forest and makes a fuss about everything. In these short chapters he suffers a bitter disappointment, shows off his vanity, plots to get even with Farmer Brown’s boy, and trades insults and favours with Reddy Fox and the other animals.
