Johnny Jewel has won the girl, Mary V, and has his own aeroplane, but love and ambition both need hard climbing. The story begins where most romances end, as Johnny takes on a debt of honour, flies stunts to make his name, and finds that fame in the ranch and desert country brings complications of its own.
