The old open range is shrinking, and a smooth promoter named Florence Grace Hallman plans to bring a colony of settlers onto the land around the Flying U ranch. Andy Green and the cowboys of the Happy Family hatch a scheme to file on the claims themselves, turning nesters to keep the range, with plenty of comic scraps along the way.
A humorous Western about the end of the cattle era, for fans of the Flying U books. Download the free EPUB.
