1. Ahi ⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂, the Striker is one of the names of Horus, who in the inscriptions of Benihassan is called ⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂, “Horus who striketh down men.” The notion of striking was in later days confined to the beating of the sistrum.
