Her Grand Ducal Highness Priscilla of Lothen-Kunitz, tired of court etiquette and a dull betrothal, runs away with her elderly librarian to an English village, determined to live simply and do good among the poor. Her lavish ignorance of money and of English ways, especially Sundays, turns every act of charity into a small disaster.
A sharp, funny comedy of good intentions from the author of Elizabeth and Her German Garden. Download the free EPUB.
