Home from school to find his father ill and the old groceryman still at his stand, the Bad Boy persuades Dad to travel for his health. Their tour of Europe gives him fresh targets for practical jokes, from hotel staff and fellow tourists to Vesuvius itself, which Dad mistakes for a burning shanty.
Broad, knockabout American farce in the vein that made Peck a household name, best taken lightly. Download the free EPUB.
