At a New York actors’ club, rich young Jimmy Pitt bets that he can break into a house as neatly as any stage cracksman. His burglary lands him in the home of a crooked police captain and his daughter Molly, and the comedy moves to Dreever Castle in England, where crooks, a valet with a past and a stolen necklace complicate courtship.
Early Wodehouse, brisk and funny, already full of the castles and imposters he would perfect. Download the free EPUB.
