Alfred Hardy has firm ideas about marriage and a pretty, fibbing wife named Zoie who cannot keep to them. To win back her husband’s trust she invents a baby, and her friends Aggie and the hapless Jimmy Jinks must produce one, then another, as the deception grows out of hand. Mayo adapted the story from her own popular stage farce.
A brisk, silly farce of marital misunderstanding for readers who enjoy screwball comedy. Download the free EPUB.
