Sally Nicholas comes into a legacy, and her fellow boarders at Mrs. Meecher’s are delighted to plan how she should spend it. Her pompous brother Fillmore wants to become a theatrical producer, the dignified Mr. Carmyle wants to marry her, and the hapless Ginger Kemp keeps turning up in need of rescue.
