Nice Doggie

Isn’t he dear little doggie!
I don’t believe he could bite,
I love him a whole big armful,
And hug him with all my might.

He goes to bed just when I do,
Lies close to my feet all night,
He licks my face in the morning,
To wake me up when it’s light.

And when he asks for his breakfast,
His dear little tail just wags,
We both love each other dearly,
I’ll tell you his name—it’s Rags.
