Darby carries a cat-eared diary and his little sister Joan asks questions nobody wants to answer. Left behind under the cedar tree at Firgrove, the pair wander off on a pilgrimage of their own, playing at Babes in the Wood and Hill Difficulty, until they fall in with a man named Bambo and must keep out of the way of the dreaded Moll.
An English children’s adventure with a Bunyan thread running through it, best read aloud to younger listeners. Download the free EPUB.
