Penny Parker, daughter of a newspaper editor, practises ski turns on the living-room rug and soon finds herself at Pine Top Mountain chasing a story. A rival reporter, odd travelling companions, a barbed-wire fence and a lodge whose green door hides something lead her to a coded message and a gang of crooks who do not want visitors.
A Penny Parker mystery by the writer who also ghosted many early Nancy Drew books. Download the free EPUB.
