Back at Pebbly Pit Ranch after filing a claim on a gold mine, Polly Brewster and her city friend Eleanor Maynard find their find threatened by claim-jumpers. The summer brings visits to the beavers, a trip to Buffalo Park, a wild-West county fair, a company of their own and a battle of wits with schemers from New York.
Outdoor adventure for girls, part of the Polly Brewster series, with plenty of ranch life and pluck. Download the free EPUB.
