When Grandma comes to stay the winter, she clears out the guest room and makes it over in old-fashioned style, then gathers Bobby, Alice and Pink around her in the evenings. Her stories of her own childhood follow: being chased by wolves, a sugar camp, a whistling girl, a yellow gown, a war story and the arrival of a new church organ.
A homely collection of pioneer-era memories, just right for bedtime reading with children. Download the free EPUB.
