Lonely Lucilla lives with her father in a windmill on the downs by the sea and watches the sails until she sees fairies dancing on the wind. The other tales are just as inventive: vain Kesta, the pool and the tree, Nanina’s sheep, a gipsy’s magic cup, dumb Othmar and the rain maiden.
Literary fairy tales by the sister of William De Morgan, a friend of the Pre-Raphaelite circle, perfect for reading aloud. Download the free EPUB.
