Two teachers who told myths to their classes for years retell the Norse stories in simple form for young readers. Odin, Thor, Freyja and Loki move between Asgard and the lands of the giants, and the gods gather in council when Thor’s hammer goes missing and the giant king demands Freyja as his bride. A key to pronunciation and an index of names are included.
A gentle first introduction to the Norse gods for children, suited to reading aloud. Download the free EPUB.
