Baldwin, the American educator behind The Story of Siegfried, retells for young readers the stories that have been sung in palaces and around camp fires for ages. Apollo comes to Parnassus, heroes hunt the boar of Calydon, Hercules makes his choice, the golden apple leads to Troy, and the dwarf Andvari’s curse lies on the treasure in the Norse tales.
A fine first taste of world mythology for children and the adults who read to them. Download the free EPUB.
