A small boy jogging behind a sour serving man on a slippery horse is crossing the forest when outlaws take them both. Carried into the greenwood, he finds Robin Hood and his men kinder than he feared, and learns the ways of the forest among its pools, mosses and silver-flowered waters while his family wonder what has become of him.
A short, sunny Robin Hood story for young children from a favourite Victorian writer for boys. Download the free EPUB.
