When a terrible storm drives the Atlantic over Chincoteague and Assateague, the Beebe family must evacuate the island and leave much behind, while the wild pony herds are scattered and drowned. Misty, the famous pony, is heavy with foal, and the children wait anxiously as the islanders return to wrecked houses, ruined boats and a long task of rebuilding.
Henry’s sequel to Misty of Chincoteague, drawn from a real storm and the children whose gifts helped restore the herds. Download the free EPUB.
