Old Mother West Wind and the elders of the Green Meadows explain to the Merry Little Breezes why the creatures around them are as they are: why Peter Rabbit cannot fold his hands, why Unc’ Billy Possum plays dead, why Jimmy Skunk never hurries and why Flitter the Bat flies only at night. Each of the fourteen tales is a little pourquoi fable.
Gentle bedtime fables that slip a little natural history into every story. Download the free EPUB.
