Timmy Whoof is a plump bear cub, yellowish now but destined to become what people call a cinnamon bear. The story follows him as he tumbles through his first adventures in the wild, while his mother, full of fears for her cubs, chases a frightened shepherd and stops to tear open his abandoned flour-bag.
