Elizabeth Ashe, called Blue Bonnet, has run free on her Uncle Cliff’s Texas ranch with her collie Don, riding wherever she pleases. Now she must be brought up properly, and she is sent to live among relations who expect a young lady. School, tea parties and her own temper make for a stormy adjustment, as Blue Bonnet learns what to keep and what to change.
