Blossom begins life running beside her mother in a farmer’s field, but after she is broken to harness she passes from master to master, to a furniture dealer and to a dairyman near Blackheath, some kind and many careless or cruel. Told in the horse’s own voice, the story is a plea for patience and mercy toward working animals.
An animal-welfare tale in the tradition of Black Beauty, for young readers who love horses. Download the free EPUB.
