Following books about Minnie’s parrot and cat, this one introduces Tiney, a silky-haired, affectionate spaniel who makes friends with everyone in the house. Around his doings the author gathers anecdotes of other dogs: a mischievous dog and a wig, a monkey’s companion, faithful hounds, a shepherd’s dog, clever poodles and a dog that saves a traveller’s lost bag of money.
