Jessie L. Weston translates episodes from the medieval French continuations of the Perceval romance. Gawain wins the love of the Lady of Lys and must answer for it to her kinsmen, and King Arthur’s knights ride against the Castle Orguellous, with single combats, broken helms and courtly reconciliations before the adventure of the Grail.
A short, handsome piece of Arthurian romance not found in Malory, from Weston’s series of such tales. Download the free EPUB.
