Served as a dinner, this collection offers three courses of comic tales, West Country chronicles such as “Sir Mathew Ale” and “The Loves of Habakkuk Bullwrinkle”, Irish stories rich in brogue and blarney, and legal tales from the courts, followed by a mixed dessert, all illustrated by George Cruikshank.
A generous helping of Regency comic writing, for lovers of Cruikshank and old English humour. Download the free EPUB.
