Letitia Carberry, known as Tish, is a middle-aged spinster who never admits she is wrong, and her friends Lizzie and Aggie are dragged along on every scheme. Told by Lizzie, these stories find them entering a motor race, roughing it with simple-lifers, hunting a spy and getting the better of men who underestimate them.
Rinehart, better known for mysteries, was also a fine comic writer, and Tish was among her most popular creations. Download the free EPUB.
