Erik, a boy picked up from the sea as an infant and raised by a Norwegian fisherman, shows such gifts that the famous Stockholm scholar Dr. Schwaryencrona takes up his cause. The search for the truth of his birth leads to an Arctic voyage along the route of the Vega, through ice, treachery and the northern passage toward Bering Strait.
A Verne collaboration with André Laurie (Paschal Grousset), blending polar exploration with a foundling mystery. Download the free EPUB.
