An American who volunteered for the French Foreign Legion describes joining up, the history of the Legion and the Americans who served in it. He writes of trench life beyond civilisation, where no house, garden or woman was to be seen, of comrades from every nation and of fighting the Boche in the hard early years of the war.
A plain-spoken first-hand account for anyone interested in the Legion or Americans in the Great War. Download the free EPUB.
