The Old Cattleman tells, in his own crude and salty dialect, the doings of Wolfville, an Arizona cow town. Old Man Enright, Doc Peets, Cherokee Hall, Faro Nell and Texas Thompson turn up at the town’s first funeral, a washwoman’s war and many a dispute, often over a mule with a dangerous sweep.
Rough, funny frontier yarns, first published with illustrations by Frederic Remington. Download the free EPUB.
