On the crest of the continent, a false pilot, a snug mountaineers’ cabin and a lone man’s story set off a tale of gold grabbers, Cherokee Bill’s recruits and the half-breed hunters of the Red River. A beautiful prisoner named Rosario, a storm king and a French trapper’s wounds keep the action moving across the Rockies.
Frontier melodrama from France’s answer to Fenimore Cooper, with the racial language of its day. Download the free EPUB.
