When the weekly mail reaches the Flying U ranch, the Old Man learns that his sister Della, newly qualified as a doctor, is coming west to stay. The Happy Family of cowboys dread her, but the Little Doctor charms them all except Chip Bennett, the ranch’s artist-cowboy, whose pride gets tangled with a wounded horse named Silver.
