In wooded Oakenrealm the infant heir Christopher is put out of the way by a scheming marshal and grows up among foresters in the wild-wood, strong and unaware of his birth. In neighbouring Meadham the princess Goldilind is kept a near-prisoner at Greenharbour. Morris tells how their paths cross in the archaic, ballad-like prose of his late romances.
A short, sunny romance for readers who love the medieval world of Morris and the roots of modern fantasy. Download the free EPUB.
