Lieutenant Donald Newhouse arrives on the planet Dynak, specially trained to deal with its ruling Shanni, whose royal heirs hatch from eggs. When a brash Earthman named Boccaccio di Vino becomes entangled with the Shannil, the diplomatic stakes rise sharply, and Newhouse and his sergeant must navigate court etiquette in a language few humans speak.
A playful, wry tale of alien diplomacy from 1959, for fans of light-hearted classic science fiction. Download the free EPUB.
