A Snowflake in May
I saw a snowflake in the air
When smiling May had decked the year,
And then ’twas gone, I knew not where,—
I saw a snowflake in the air,
And thought perchance an angel’s prayer
Had fallen from some starry sphere;
I saw a snowflake in the air
When smiling May had decked the year.
