Oceana, a young woman raised in freedom far from conventions, arrives at the luxurious Boston home of the Mastersons and upsets everything — the society mother, the doctor father and, above all, Henry Selden, the unhappy husband of the elder daughter. The last act moves to Selden’s camp in the White Mountains.
A curious four-act drama from the author of The Jungle, putting his ideas about nature and convention on stage. Download the free EPUB.
