In the house of Lord William Dromondy, a well-meaning Tory MP, the butler and the household fear revolution in the cellar, and a plumber named Lemmy, with his old mother and a newspaperman in tow, turns social unrest into farce. Galsworthy uses the fantasy to mock both the rich and the press.
A rare comic play from the author of The Forsyte Saga, still sharp about class and charity. Download the free EPUB.
