The Honorable Percival Hascombe boards a liner at San Francisco with a fur coat, a gun case, a valet and an air of carefully maintained tragedy over a disappointment in love. Then he meets Bobby, a lively American girl with a scheme of her own, and the long voyage across the Pacific begins to undo his ennui.
A light shipboard comedy from the author of Mrs. Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch, quick and charming. Download the free EPUB.
