On a mountain above the Caribbean, a homesick young American sits hating the sea while Polly Brewster, a spirited heiress, sits on the rock above him loving it. Everyone in her party writes off the goggled beetle man as a harmless crank, until a revolution on the island reveals that Perk is a good deal more than he seems.
A breezy romantic comedy by the writer whose story “Night Bus” became It Happened One Night. Download the free EPUB.
