Peter Donovan wrote these sketches as P. O’D. for Saturday Night in Toronto, and here they are gathered into a book of genial, self-mocking humour. With a mock-Montaigne air he reflects on spring, manners, city life and the small embarrassments of a man trying hard to be proper and never quite managing it.
Gentle Canadian humour in the vein of Stephen Leacock, ideal for dipping into. Download the free EPUB.
